At Legends of Taria, we believe that privacy is a fundamental human right. We are committed to protecting your personal data and ensuring that we only collect and use what is absolutely necessary for the functionality of our game and services. We will never sell your data.

Information We Collect

• Email Address and Sign-In – Used to create and link your account, facilitate account recovery, and send essential service-related updates. When you sign in with Google, Apple or Discord, we receive your email address and an account ID from that service.
• Game Data – Your characters, their names, progress and items, and your friends, guild and trades, so the game can save and run your adventure.
• In-Game Messages – Stored to facilitate communication between players and maintain the integrity of the game world.
• Purchases – What you bought, when, and through which store, so we can deliver it and restore it later. Google Play, the App Store or our payment processor handles the payment itself; we never see your card details.
• IP Address – Used for security, fraud prevention, punishment enforcement, and ensuring a stable gameplay experience.
• Device Information – Your device type, operating system, hardware details and device identifiers, used to keep the game secure and fair and to fix problems on particular devices. The mobile apps also send a device ID to deliver the notifications you allow.
• Gameplay Activity – Your actions and inputs in the game, used to run it and to keep it fair.
• Crash Reports and Diagnostics – When the game crashes or hits an error, a report of what went wrong and on which device, so we can fix it.
• App Usage – How the mobile apps are used, such as sessions and screens viewed, to improve the game. We do not collect your device's advertising ID.
• Birthday – When you unlock chat, the birthday you enter is used only to check your age and is not stored.

How We Use Your Information

The data we collect is strictly used for the following purposes:

• To provide access to and maintain the functionality of Legends of Taria.
• To secure your account and prevent unauthorized access.
• To keep the game fair by detecting cheating, bots and fraud.
• To deliver and restore your purchases.
• To facilitate in-game communication.
• To find and fix crashes and bugs.
• To comply with legal obligations, if necessary.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Service providers handle some data for us, only to run the game:

• Supabase – sign-in and accounts.
• Google Firebase – crash reports, app usage and push notifications.
• Google Play, Apple App Store, Stripe and Paddle – processing purchases.
• Cloudflare – hosting and protecting our website and servers.

Otherwise, your data may only be disclosed if required by law, such as in response to a legal request or to comply with regulatory obligations.

Children

Players under 13 can play, but chat and other social features stay off unless the birthday entered shows an age of 13 or older. A parent can set a PIN in the game so these features can't be turned on without them. Device information and gameplay activity, from children and adults alike, are used only to run the game, keep it secure and fair, and fix problems. They are never used for advertising or to contact you, and only staff who need them can see them.

Data Retention

We only retain your personal data for as long as it is necessary to provide our services or comply with legal requirements. If you choose to delete your account, it is deleted 30 days after your request, except where retention is required for legal or security reasons. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

• Request access to the data we store about you.
• Request the deletion of your account and associated personal data.
